As an alternative, you can opt for the sumptuous two-tone "Savona" leather seats. As an extra decadent touch, ergoComfort seats can be added to provide supreme lumbar support.

A supremely confident drive
Eyes in the dark
Heavy rain, snow and fog can seriously restrict your field of vision, especially after dark. That's where night vision comes in. The Touareg can scan the road up to 130 metres ahead using infrared beams detecting thermal radiation to display pedestrians or animals on your digital dashboard. In emergency situations the system communicates with your brake assist to make it easier to stop quickly and safely. Night Vision is optional on all Touareg models.

A pioneering first in a Volkswagen, the new Touareg is the only SUV in its class to present you with a gloriously clear 15-inch Innovision glass display. A richly colourful screen that merges seemlessly into your digital dashboard, it does away with buttons, knobs and dials, using just the power of your touch, gesture and voice to control your car. You can customise it just like a smartphone, and use it to see a wealth of information such as navigation and your apps.

Following the all -electric ID.R record-breaking race car, it brings absolute performance from the race track onto the road with passion and motorsport in its blood.
Electrified
With a purely electric range of up to 32 miles (WLTP*), just connect the charging cable to a socket at home or to a wall box. Using a wall box will mean that the lithium-ion battery is fully charged after about 5 hours 10 mins (3.6kW).
Equipment
The 3.0 TSI eHybrid engine is available on the Touareg R model. Just simply use the configurator or compare tool to find out more about trim specification.
